The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has published guidelines to follow for the legal import and distribution of irradiated gemstones in the USA. Sending electron or neutron irradiated gemstones to the USA is illegal without the proper license.
HBM Virginia LLC is fully licensed by the NRC and the Virginia Department of Health for import and distribution of irradiated gemstones. Our certification process includes single gemstone measurement and therefore provides highest safety and reliability standards.
