Sorting Machine
A sorting machine accelerates our radiation measurement system and is unique world wide. Our sorting machine is using 12 channels to determine radioactivity close to natural background levels. At the same time it provides high throughput.
This machine is an integral part of our certification process for import and distribution of gemstones into the USA. It is part of our NRC licensed process.
The sorting machine has been especially designed for gemstones larger than 3mm.
High resolution gamma ray spectroscopy allows to identify radioactivity that is much below natural background radiation levels.
